Street Sweeping

Street sweeping is an effective method of removing both the large and microscopic pollutants that collect on City streets.  The City of Lee's Summit currently sweeps every curbed street within the City totalling in 740 miles of streets with over 900 cul-de-sacs.  Please contact 969-1800 for any sweeping concerns.

The sweeper program begins annually on April 1st and operates with the following frequency:
 

• Arterial Routes swept 4 times a year
• Collector Routes swept 2 times a year
• Residential Routes swept 1 time a year
• Downtown District Every Thursday night
