The Monday, May 21st, Budget Committee meeting scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall has been CANCELLED.

The new date and schedules will be released on the City’s website soon.

City's Annual Big Truck & Equipment Show - May 19

To celebrate National Public Works Week, May 20 - 26, the Lee’s Summit Public Works and Water Utilities departments will host the Annual Big Truck & Equipment Show at Lee’s Summit Municipal Airport, 2751 NE Douglas St. on May 19 (Saturday) from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

M-150 Highway Corridor Framework Plan

The City of Lee’s Summit’s Planning & Development Department will host an Open House on May 14^thand again on May 21^stfor the public to view and ask questions about the recently adopted Lee’s Summit M-150 Sustainable Corridor Vision and Framework Plan and the proposed Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) Amendments for the corridor plan implementation.

Strawberry Lawn Fete May 20

The Lee’s Summit Historic Preservation Commission cordially invites you to attend the annual Strawberry Lawn Fete and the presentation of a plaque to Jill Davolt, the owner of “The Filling Station” family-owned barbecue restaurant. City’s May 10th Budget Committee Meeting - Cancelled New Schedules for Departmental Budget Presentations to be Released Soon

The Thursday, May 10th, Budget Committee meeting scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall has been cancelled. This was to be the first day departmental representatives would present their respective budgets to the committee.

Congratulations Graduates of the 2012 Lee’s Summit Citizens Leadership Academy

The 2012 class of the City of Lee's Summit's Citizens Leadership Academy graduated during the May 3^rd Lee’s Summit City Council meeting. This is the second year for the program, which had 25 participants.
