Celebrate Safely and Legally with Fireworks

If you are going to use fireworks as part of your celebration it is important to know that in Lee’s Summit, City ordinance allows the use of approved consumer fireworks with a permit on July 2nd and 3rd between the hours of 10:00 A.M. and 11:00 P.M., and on July 4th between the hours of 10:00 A.M. and Midnight.

City’s first “Green on Green Sustainability Fair” is October 9

The fair is FREE and will be Saturday, October 9 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Green Street between 2nd and 3rd streets in downtown Lee’s Summit, MO.  There will be a variety of activities at the fair.
