The Lee’s Summit Police Department has entered into an agreement with DOCVIEW, LLC to place traffic accident reports on-line.

Five years ago today (04-26-05) at 3:00 in the afternoon 54 year old James L. Ellis of Harrisonville was shot multiple times while working in the 500 block of SE Lee Haven Drive in Lee’s Summit.

On Tuesday 03-23-10 warrants were issued against the subject from Mondays assault case inside the Culver’s restaurant in Lee’s Summit on NE Douglas St.

At 1:30 this afternoon (03-22-10) officers were dispatched to 1701 NE Douglas St on the report of a disturbance inside the business involving a stabbing.

The Lee’s Summit Police Department has taken several reports in the past month related to a bail money telephone scam that targets elderly residents.

Tuesday evening 03-16-10 the Lee’s Summit Police Department conducted a quarterly liquor control “sting” operation within the city. 

March 15th through March 31st the Lee’s Summit Police Department will step up traffic enforcement efforts before and after school in support of “Operation Safe Teen”.
