One Person Arrested at Lee's Summit West Football Game

Lee’s Summit, Mo. –  On Friday, 10-15-2010 at approximately 7:35 p.m. officers were notified of a disturbance in the stands of the Lees Summit West football game.  An officer who was working at the game responded to the stands and located the three subjects involved.  The investigation revealed a 17 year old victim had been assaulted.  The defendant, identified as John Smith, a 70 year old white male from Lee’s Summit was arrested at the scene for assault and transported to the Lee’s Summit Police Department.  The victim had minor injuries and required no treatment at the scene.
