Armed Robbery -- Integrity Gold, 858 SW Blue Parkway

Lee’s Summit, Mo. –  Tuesday afternoon at 2:05 p.m.  (10-5-2010) officers were dispatched to 858 SW Blue Parkway, Integrity Gold, on the report of  an armed robbery.  The owner of the business reported a black male, approximately 20 years old entered the store wearing a white t-shirt and displayed a handgun.  After moving the owner to the rear of the business, two additional black male subjects entered the business.  The suspects demanded and received currency and a quantity of jewelry.  All three suspects then fled on foot to the north, scaled a retaining wall and entered a white, older model Lexus which was parked north of the business.  The Lexus was described as having tape over one of the tail lights.  The vehicle then left the area towards US 50 Highway.  The handgun was not discharged during the incident and no injuries were reported.  Witnesses in the area provided a limited description of the two additional suspects as being a black male with a dark complexion and a black male with a lighter complexion.
