Assistance Requested Identifying Larceny Subject

A LSPD detective is requesting assistance identifying a subject responsible for the theft of an electronic device captured on video surveillance. On January 26 of 2010 at 3:30 p.m. the subject entered the control room of the Bubble Time Car Wash at 635 NE Woods Chapel Road. While inside the control room he pocketed an employee’s Blackberry Curve valued at over $300.00 and left the business. The employee did speak with the subject as he was walking out of the room but the subject stating he was looking for tie downs he left behind at the car wash. He drove away in a small black pick-up.

The subject is a white male in his late 20’s to 30’s of average or larger build. At the time of the incident he’s wearing a horizontal stripped white and gray sweatshirt with blue athletic pants with a gray strip and white tennis shoes. There is no additional information related to his vehicle or images from outside the business. If someone recognizes the subject from the photographs they are asked to contact the LSPD Criminal Investigations Unit at 816-969-1720 or through the anonymous LS tips hotline at 816-969-1752.
