Lee's Summit Officers honored with Character Awards

On Thursday, January 26th, the Lee’s Summit Character Council held it’s 9th annual Character Breakfast to honor those people who had been chosen for character awards during 2011.  Two Lee's Summit Police Officers were among those honored at the breakfast.  Officer Mark Wiesemann was recognized for the character traif of Cooperation for his extensive work with Special Olympics over the years.  Officer Jeremy Brownlee was recognized for the character trait of Respect for his work at the Police Department and through Crossfit LS with Special Olympics.  For a complete listing of those honored, please click the link below for the full story:
