On Saturday, February 4th, 2012, the Lee’s Summit Police Department is partnering with LS Cares in an effort to recover and dispose of unwanted and expired prescription medications. Residents will be able to turn in unwanted and expired prescription medications at one of three drop off locations in Lee’s Summit from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The locations for the Lee’s Summit area are:
- HyVee West – 310 SW Ward Road, Lee’s Summit, MO
- HyVee East – 301 NE Rice Road, Lee’s Summit, MO
- Saint Lukes Hospital – 100 NE St. Lukes Blvd., Lee’s Summit, MO
At each of these locations representatives from the Lee’s Summit Police Department will be on hand to accept the medications and answer questions.
