LEE’S SUMMIT POLICE PARTICIPATING
IN NATIONAL DRUG “TAKEBACK” DAY
Lee’s Summit, Mo – On Saturday, October 29th, 2011, the Lee’s Summit Police Department will be participating in a nationwide effort to recover and dispose of unwanted and expired prescription medications. The event is a cooperative effort between the Lee’s Summit Police Department, the US Drug Enforcement Administration and Lee’s Summit Cares. Residents will be able to turn in unwanted and expired prescription medications at one of three drop off locations in Lee’s Summit from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The locations for the Lee’s Summit area are:
· Hyvee West – 310 SW Ward Road, Lee’s Summit, MO
· Hyvee East – 301 NE Rice Road, Lee’s Summit, MO
· St. Lukes Hospital – 100 NE St. Lukes Blvd., Lee’s Summit, MO
