Local Bomb Technicians to Host Easter Egg Hunt for Visually Impaired Children

The Kansas/Missouri Bomb Technician Working Group is sponsoring two “beeping” Easter egg hunts for visually impaired children.  The group is made up of area bomb squads from Lee’s Summit, Kansas City Missouri, Independence, Kansas City Kansas, Leavenworth, Olathe and Overland Park. The program is funded by the International Association of Bomb Technicians and Investigators.

The first event will be held in cooperation with the Blue Springs and Lee’s Summit School Districts on April 16 at 10am.  The event will be held at Delta Woods Middle School located at 4401 Northeast Lakewood Way in Lee's Summit.

The second event will be held on Wednesday April 20 at 1:00pm at the Children’s Center for the Visually Impaired located at 3101 Main Street, Kansas City, MO.
