A modern romantic comedy about a marriage and a dog. The husband, Greg, finds and abandoned dog, Sylvia, and brings her home. The wife, Kate, quickly finds that she has been releagated to the back seat as Sylvia becomes the new love of Greg's life. World renowned tenor “Il Stupendo,” is set to start in the gala fundraising production of OTELLO. He doesn’t show up. The show, of course must go on and Assistant Manager Max dons the costume and makeup required for the role. His disguise succeeds admirably until Il Stupendo shows up and heads for the stage. What follows is a chain-reaction of mistaken identity, plot twists, double entendres, innuendoes, and constant entrances and exits through many doors. Oscar Madison is divorced and enjoying the bachelor lifestyle in his own apartment which is decorated in what can only be described as early American junkyard. His best friend, fastidious neatnik Felix Ungar, shows up to the weekly poker game distraught and suicidal announcing that his wife has given him the boot. Felix moves in with Oscar and the comedic fireworks begin. Please meet at the Gamber Center at 10:20am for a bus pick-up time of 10:40am.
