What Environmental Volunteer Opportunities are available?
|
Help with vehicle check-in, traffic direction, or vehicle unloading.
|
Assist patrons with unloading and carrying bags of paper to the mobile paper shredding truck.
|
|
Collect litter from local stream banks.
|
Collect litter from local parks.
|
|
Help install and maintain gardens.
|
Assist patrons with proper sorting of
recyclable materials and flattening cardboard boxes.
|
|
Agree to collect litter on a quarterly basis from designated Lee's Summit street segments as an individual or a group.
|
Help with fair setup and tear down or greet patrons as they enter
the fair.
|
Community Service Hours:
- Student community service hours are available for all of the above activities.
- Court-ordered community service hours are available at the City's landfill.
