Lee's Summit HHW Appointment Confirmation

Thank you for doing the right thing by scheduling an HHW appointment to properly discard your unwanted HHW.  You should receive an email shortly confirming your appointment date and time.  For ease of mind, you may want to print your confirmation email and bring it with you to your appointment.  If you do not receive a confirmation email within a few hours, you may call 969-1805 to confirm your appointment.
 

REMINDERS:

• There is a 100-pound limit of residential HHW per appointment.
• Proof of residency will be required at the time of your appointment.
• There is a $50 fee for residents of non-participating communities (including, but not limited to, Buckner,Claycomo, Grandview, Odessa, Orrick, Peculiar, Raytown, and Unincorporated Ray County)
• Wednesday appointments: ONLY Light bulbs (fluorescent), Antifreeze, Batteries, Motor Oil (and other automotive fluids), and Paint products (LABOP) are accepted because we do not have a chemist available on Wednesdays. If you have other materials to drop-off, you must schedule a Saturday appointment.
• Saturday appointments: LABOP, oil filters, pesticides, fertilizer, household chemicals, cleaning compounds, pool chemicals, and mercury-containing devices are accepted.
• The following materials will NOT be accepted: commercial or business waste, empty or leaking containers, asbestos, explosives, medical waste and syringes, radioactive material, and known PCB waste.
• Staff reserves the right to refuse any questionable materials.
