Organizational Structure
The Municipal Court is composed of two divisions, each having its own judge. Judges are elected to serve staggered four-year terms as provided by Section 16.2(d) Election of City Officials. One judge is designated as Presiding Municipal Judge. The Municipal Judges have such powers and duties as are conferred upon such officers by law or by ordinance.
