| Industrial Development Authority |
The Industrial Development Authority promotes and solicits industrial and economic development projects; as well as acquire, improve, maintain, equip and furnish projects, including all real and personal properties which the Authority may deem necessary. |
| Jackson County Board of Equalization |
Under the Jackson County Charter, Lee's Summit is entitled to a voting representative and alternate on the Jackson County Board of Equalization to hear and rule on appeals of valuation of property which lies within the boundaries of Lee's Summit. |

Land Clearance for Redevelopment Authority (LCRA)
The LCRA may provide the financing of any land clearance or urban renewal project within an approved redevelopment area through, among other powers, the issuance of bonds or certificates of qualification for tax abatement for property owners within the area.

The License Tax Review Committee evaluates and comments on the annual report regarding the license tax. |

The Commission review all proposed redevelopment plans, redevelopment projects and designation of redevelopment areas, and amendments thereto, and, make recommendations to the City Council concerning the adoption of, or amendment to, redevelopment plans an redevelopment projects and the designation of redevelopment areas. |
| Water Tap Fee Review Committee |
The Water Tap Fee Review Committee reviews the methodology and calculation annually. Water tap fees and a methodology of calculating water tap fees were adopted and imposed in 1996 on new water service connections. Provisions in Ordinance No. 4213 and 4248 established a procedure for the preparation of an annual report by the City Manager and an annual review by the Water Tap Fee Reveiw Committee and the City Council. |
