Arts Council
The Lee’s Summit Arts Council is a standing committee comprised of citizens and professionals established primarily to coordinate efforts between agencies and educate the public regarding community arts opportunities.

Beautification Commission
The Lee's Summit Beautification Commission is a volunteer organization dedicated to enhancing the overall appearance, environmental awareness and livability of Lee's Summit.

Historic Preservation Commission
The Historic Preservation Commission is comprised of City residents, business or property owners striving to increase public awareness of the value of historic, architectural and cultural preservation by developing and participating in public information programs and by updating the preservation program. They also review proposed changes to buildings, structures, street furniture, city parks, civic areas, public facilities or environmental features of a Landmark or properties located within a Historic District.

Lee's Summit 360º Implementation Committee
The Lee’s Summit 360º Implementation Committee is charged with facilitation and guidance of the implementation process of the 2009 Lee's Summit 360º Strategic Plan. The strategic plan contains a list of ideal goals that the City and its partners would like to accomplish over the next 10 to 15 years and will be used by this committee and the stakeholders as a general roadmap to assist in creating the ideal community where all Lee’s Summit residents, visitors, and businesses can live, work, and play.

Livable Streets Advisory Board
The Livable Streets Committee of the Lee's Summit 360 Strategic Planning Initiative is working to make our community and our streets more "livable", safe and accessible for all of our citizens. This includes improving accommodations for people who choose to walk, bicycle, drive or use mass transit, regardless of age, ability or disability.

Parks & Recreation Board
The Parks & Recreation Board, appointed by the Mayor, governs parks in conjunction with Missouri Statutes, controls the supervision, improvement, care and custody of parks and recreation activities.
