Mayor Randall Rhoads will update the Lee’s Summit City Council, City staff and the community about major accomplishments of the City, as well as recommendations to continue moving the community forward, during the annual State of the City address at 6 p.m. on Thursday, September 8, in the Council Chambers of Lee’s Summit City Hall, 220 SE Green Street, Lee’s Summit.

Mayor Rhoads’ presentation will also be available via the City’s government access channel broadcast on Comcast, channel 7; Time Warner, channel 2; and AT&T U-verse, channel 99, as well as streaming live via the City’s internet, cityofls.net.

Several special guests including mayors from surrounding jurisdictions and local and state officials have been invited to attend the event. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend to learn about the progress and future of the community.
